Hello, I’m Mark....

I am a seasoned professional based in Downtown Orlando, Florida, with a diverse background in both public and private sectors. Originally from Brooklyn, New York, I eventually settled in Winter Garden, Florida. In 2010, I had the opportunity to participate in a study abroad program in China, where I studied Global Business at Beijing Union University and Chinese and Global Economics at Shanghai Finance University, spending time in both Beijing and Shanghai.

In 2011, I contributed to the US State Department’s Virtual Student Foreign Service Program, assisting US Embassy missions worldwide with special projects. I graduated from Valencia College in 2010 and went on to complete my undergraduate and graduate studies at Florida International University, earning a Bachelor’s in Public Administration in 2014 and an MBA in 2016.

Professionally, I bring over 17 years of public sector experience from my work at the Orange County Property Appraiser’s office, alongside my consumer banking experience at SunTrust Bank.

In addition to my professional endeavors, I am an adjunct professor at Valencia College, where I teach courses in Business, Management, and Leadership, sharing my passion for leadership and practical insights with future professionals.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, biking, scuba diving, running marathons, playing tennis, traveling, spending time at the beach, and exploring new and exciting experiences.
